The truth is, I’ve just always had a camera in my hand.

In 2018, I decided to learn to take better pictures of my daughters and then wanted to help other people experience the joy of emotional, timeless photographs of their favorite people, too.

In 2019, I launched Helen Pace Photography and am now in my 7th year of shooting professionally. In March of 2023, I achieved the designation of Certified Professional Photographer through Professional Photographers of America. I am now one of only three CPPs in all of Western North Carolina.

I am fully obsessed with warm, rich color, precise skin tones, and dimension. I shoot with dual mirrorless Nikon bodies and insist on razor-sharp focusing.

I am a native of the Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina & am raising my girls outside Hendersonville, NC, near Chimney Rock, Lake Lure, and Asheville.
